Maine High School Basketball - Thornton Academy defeats Deering

The Thornton Academy Trojans (Saco, ME) basketball were winner over the visiting Deering Rams (Portland, ME), 67-52 in Friday's league bout.
The Trojans now possess a 15-2 record. They play next when they travel to Oxford Hills for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 4. Thornton Academy will play a Vikings team coming off a 62-42 league loss to Portland (Portland, ME). The Vikings record now stands at 9-9.
With the loss, Deering falls to 8-10 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Windham (Windham, ME) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 6. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 14-4. Windham won 57-45 in their recent non-league bout against Scarborough (Scarborough, ME)
