In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Stevens Cardinals basketball squad scored a decisive 68-35 victory over the Derryfield Cougars.
With the victory, Stevens advances its record to 4-9 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Newport (Newport, NH) to meet the Tigers in a Division III battle on Monday, February 3. The Tigers enter the battle with a record of 10-4.
The Cougars now own a 2-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hopkinton for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 4.
