The Devils Lake Firebirds basketball team scored 62 points and limited the visiting Grand Forks Central Knights to 49 in the Firebirds non-league triumph on Friday.

The Firebirds now possess a 15-0 record. They play next when they host Hillsboro for a non-league game on Thursday, February 6.

With the loss, Grand Forks Central falls to 4-11 on the campaign. The Knights host Fargo North (Fargo, ND) to confront the Spartans in a AA East game on Tuesday, February 4. The Spartans go into the game with a record of 6-9. Fargo North lost 103-73 in their recent league game against Horace (Horace, ND)
