In Friday's league contest, the host Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier Rangers basketball team scored a big 57-22 triumph over the South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] Mustangs.
The Rangers (10-4) will now prepare for their contest against Ellendale (Ellendale, ND). The Cardinals go into the B District 2 contest with a 4-11 record. In their last contest, Ellendale smashed Strasburg/Zeeland (Strasburg, ND), 33-31, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Leola/Frederick Titans (Leola, SD) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 1. South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] will attempt to better on its 0-8 season record. The Titans go into the contest with a 15-2 record after their 74-55 non-league win over Faulkton (Faulkton, SD).
