The Moquis (8-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Monticello (Monticello, UT). The Buckaroo come into the non-league challenge with a 10-6 record. In their last challenge, Monticello was routed by Green River (Green River, UT), 69-45, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars encounter the Whitehorse Raiders (Montezuma Creek, UT) in a 1A Region 19 challenge, on Wednesday, February 5. Monument Valley will attempt to improve on its 2-14 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 9-9 record after their 72-43 league loss to Green River (Green River, UT).
