In Friday's league contest, the host Everglades Prep Academy Panther basketball team scored a close 62-55 win over the Palm Glades Prep Academy Eagles.
The Panther (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Gulliver Prep (Miami, FL). The Raiders come into the non-league contest with a 16-7 record. In their last contest, Gulliver Prep edged Immaculata-La Salle (Miami, FL), 76-42, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Archbishop Carroll Bulldogs (Miami, FL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 3. Palm Glades Prep Academy will attempt to better on its 3-11 season record. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 13-8 record after their 60-41 non-league win over Braddock (Miami, FL).
