Fitch Falcons (Groton, CT) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Waterford Lancers (Waterford, CT), 68-46 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Fitch advances its record to 11-4 on the year. The Falcons host Norwich Free Academy (Norwich, CT) to face the Wildcats in a Eastern Connecticut I match on Tuesday, February 4. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 4-7. Norwich Free Academy lost 72-36 in their recent non-league match against West Haven (West Haven, CT)

The Lancers now own a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Lyme for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 4. Waterford will face a Vikings squad coming off a 55-42 non-league win over Woodstock Academy (Woodstock, CT). The Vikings record now stands at 7-9.
