The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Skyline Tigers (Urbana, MO) and the host Fordland Eagles (Fordland, MO), observed Skyline's basketball team overcome Fordland by a score of 72-62.

The Tigers (12-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Miller (Miller, MO). The Cardinals come into the Southwest challenge with a 13-5 record. In their last challenge, Miller defeated Diamond (Diamond, MO), 58-26, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Norwood Pirates (Norwood, MO) in a Summit challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Fordland will attempt to improve on its 9-8 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 18-2 record after their 63-54 non-league loss to Hartville (Hartville, MO).
