In Friday's non-league contest, the host Louisiana School for the Deaf War Eagles basketball team scored a big 81-47 win over the Georgia School for the Deaf Tigers.

The War Eagles (2-24) will now prepare for their contest against Tennessee School for the Deaf (Knoxville, TN). The Vikings come into the non-league contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Tennessee School for the Deaf was trounced by Florida School for the Deaf & Blind (St. Augustine, FL), 52-18, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Kentucky School for the Deaf Colonels (Danville, KY) in a non-league contest, on Friday, February 21. Georgia School for the Deaf will attempt to better on its 0-6 season record. The Colonels come into the contest with a 0-3 record after their 60-44 non-league loss to Louisiana School for the Deaf (Baton Rouge, LA).
