In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Hamilton Hawkeyes basketball team scored a good 58-40 triumph over the West Michigan Aviation Academy .
The Hawkeyes (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against Spring Lake (Spring Lake, MI). The Lakers go into the Ottawa-Kent - Blue contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, Spring Lake topped Holland (Holland, MI), 60-50, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the confront the Calvin Christian Squires (Grandville, MI) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 1. West Michigan Aviation Academy will attempt to better on its 6-9 season record. The Squires go into the contest with a 8-5 record after their 61-48 league win over Hopkins (Hopkins, MI).
