The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Hoxie Indians (Hoxie, KS) and the visiting Quinter Bulldogs (Quinter, KS), observed Hoxie's basketball team knock off Quinter by a score of 48-32.

The Indians (9-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Smith Center (Smith Center, KS). The Redmen come into the Mid-Continent challenge with a 4-9 record. In their last challenge, Smith Center was knocked off by Phillipsburg (Phillipsburg, KS), 67-55, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs encounter the St. Francis Indians (St. Francis, KS) in a Northwest Kansas challenge, on Friday, February 7. Quinter will attempt to improve on its 8-6 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 2-14 record after their 52-28 league loss to Rawlins County (Atwood, KS).
