The Shadow Hills Knights (Indio, CA) basketball edged the host Indio Rajahs (Indio, CA), 52-51 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Knights now possess a 10-16 record. They play next when they travel to Rancho Mirage for a Desert Empire bout on Monday, February 3. Shadow Hills will play a Rattlers team coming off a 89-51 league win over La Quinta (La Quinta, CA). The Rattlers record now stands at 21-5.

With the loss, Indio falls to 6-15 on the campaign. The Rajahs travel to Twentynine Palms (Twentynine Palms, CA) to play the Wildcats in a Desert Valley bout on Monday, February 3. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 7-19. Twentynine Palms lost 63-61 in their recent league bout against Indio (Indio, CA)
