The John Curtis Christian Patriots (River Ridge, LA) basketball edged the visiting Jesuit Blue Jays (New Orleans, LA), 52-45 in Friday's league bout.
The Patriots now possess a 29-7 record. They play next when they travel to Vandebilt Catholic for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 1.
With the loss, Jesuit falls to 20-5 on the campaign. The Blue jays host Holy Cross (New Orleans, LA) to play the Tigers in a 5A District 9 bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 19-3. Holy Cross won 30-29 in their recent league bout against Brother Martin (New Orleans, LA)
