The Lewis Central Titans basketball squad (Council Bluffs, IA), was crushed 80-56 in Friday's league battle with the host Kuemper Knights (Carroll, IA)

With the victory, Kuemper advances its record to 18-1 on the year. The Knights travel to Shenandoah (Shenandoah, IA) to meet the Mustangs in a Hawkeye Ten battle on Friday, February 7. The Mustangs enter the battle with a record of 6-11.

The Titans now own a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Blair for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 4. Lewis Central will meet a Bears squad coming off a 62-53 non-league win over Standing Bear (Lincoln, NE). The Bears record now stands at 8-8.
