In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Mangum Tigers basketball team scored a good 49-41 triumph over the Tipton Tigers.
The Tigers (12-7) will now prepare for their contest against Apache (Apache, OK). The Warriors go into the non-league contest with a 10-10 record. In their last contest, Apache was toppled by Velma-Alma (Velma, OK), 68-31, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Tigers confront the Granite (Granite, OK) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Tipton will attempt to better on its 4-12 season record. The go into the contest with a 19-4 record after their 67-60 non-league loss to Alva (Alva, OK).
