South Carolina High School Basketball - Scott's Branch can't get by Military Magnet Academy

The Scott's Branch Eagles basketball squad (Summerton, SC), was nudged 68-63 in Friday's league battle with the host Military Magnet Academy Eagles (North Charleston, SC)

With the victory, Military Magnet Academy advances its record to 10-11 on the year. The Eagles travel to Charleston Math & Science (Charleston, SC) to meet the Riptide in a A Region 5 battle on Monday, February 3. The Riptide enter the battle with a record of 13-4. Charleston Math & Science lost 62-52 in their recent league battle against Cross (Cross, SC)

The Eagles now own a 5-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Baptist Hill for a A Region 5 battle on Saturday, February 1. Scott's Branch will meet a Bobcats squad coming off a 81-26 league win over Palmetto Scholars Academy (North Charleston, SC). The Bobcats record now stands at 9-11.
