In Friday's non-league contest, the host Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Indians basketball team scored a close 56-53 triumph over the Mohonasen Warriors.

The Indians (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Lansingburgh (Troy, NY). The Knights go into the Section 2 Colonial - Liberty contest with a 3-13 record. In their last contest, Lansingburgh was tipped by Ichabod Crane (Valatie, NY), 56-55, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Warriors battle the Catholic Central Crusaders (Troy, NY) in a Section 2 Colonial - Patriot contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Mohonasen will attempt to better on its 6-9 season record. The Crusaders go into the contest with a 10-6 record after their 75-43 league win over Schalmont (Schenectady, NY).
