The Sayre Eagles basketball squad (Sayre, OK), was nudged 66-59 in Friday's league battle with the host Navajo Indians (Altus, OK)
With the victory, Navajo advances its record to 6-13 on the year. The Indians host Cordell (Cordell, OK) to meet the Blue Devils in a Shortgrass battle on Tuesday, February 4. The Blue Devils enter the battle with a record of 0-16. Cordell lost 64-33 in their recent league test against Burns Flat-Dill City (Burns Flat, OK)
The Eagles (4-13) will now prepare for their test against Snyder (Snyder, OK). The Cyclones come into the Shortgrass test with a 4-13 record. In their last test, Snyder was nipped by Duke (Duke, OK), 65-22, in a non-league test.
