Washington High School Basketball - Squalicum bests Nooksack Valley

The Squalicum Storm (Bellingham, WA) basketball toppled the host Nooksack Valley Pioneers (Everson, WA), 61-48 in Friday's league bout.
The Storm now possess a 9-9 record. They play next when they host Sehome for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest bout on Wednesday, February 5. Squalicum will play a Mariners team coming off a 54-51 league win over Bellingham (Bellingham, WA). The Mariners record now stands at 5-12.
With the loss, Nooksack Valley falls to 7-8 on the campaign. The Pioneers host Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, WA) to play the Wildcats in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest bout on Monday, February 3. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 4-13. Oak Harbor lost 65-61 in their recent league bout against Anacortes (Anacortes, WA)
