In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting North Central Thunder basketball team scored a big 56-27 triumph over the Strasburg/Zeeland Clippers.
The Thunder (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Aberdeen Christian (Aberdeen, SD). The Knights go into the non-league contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Aberdeen Christian was trounced by Western Christian (Hull, IA), 64-40, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Clippers confront the Ellendale Cardinals (Ellendale, ND) in a B District 2 battle, on Saturday, February 1. Strasburg/Zeeland will attempt to advance on its 6-8 season record. The Cardinals enter the battle with a 3-11 record after their 38-33 league loss to Kidder County co-op [Steele/Tappen] (Steele, ND).
