In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Northland Eagles basketball team scored a big 99-34 triumph over the Ogilvie Lions.
The Eagles (8-10) will now prepare for their battle against Bigfork (Bigfork, MN). The Huskies enter the A Section 7 battle with a 7-10 record. In their last battle, Bigfork was crushed by Littlefork-Big Falls (Littlefork, MN), 78-73, in a league battle.
The Lions now own a 0-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hinckley-Finlayson for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 4. Ogilvie will meet a Jaguars squad coming off a 74-37 non-league loss to Pine City (Pine City, MN). The Jaguars record now stands at 4-19.
