The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Palm Springs Indians (Palm Springs, CA) and the visiting Rialto Knights (Rialto, CA), observed Palm Springs's basketball team overcome Rialto by a score of 66-47.

The Indians (19-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Palm Desert (Palm Desert, CA). The Aztecs come into the Desert Empire challenge with a 18-8 record. In their last challenge, Palm Desert defeated Shadow Hills (Indio, CA), 82-43, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Knights battle the Summit SkyHawks (Fontana, CA) in a Sunkist challenge, on Monday, February 3. Rialto will attempt to improve on its 13-13 season record. The SkyHawks come into the challenge with a 16-10 record after their 76-59 league win over Carter (Rialto, CA).
