The Somersworth Toppers (Somersworth, NH) basketball edged the host Winnisquam Bears (Tilton, NH), 55-53 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Toppers now possess a 3-9 record. They play next when they travel to Prospect Mountain for a Division III bout on Tuesday, February 4. Somersworth will play a Timberwolves team coming off a 66-46 league loss to St. Thomas Aquinas (Dover, NH). The Timberwolves record now stands at 7-6.
With the loss, Winnisquam falls to 0-16 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Raymond (Raymond, NH) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 11-5. Raymond lost 64-54 in their recent league bout against Campbell (Litchfield, NH)
