The Start Spartans basketball team scored 75 points and limited the host Southview Cougars to 58 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Friday.

The Spartans now possess a 10-6 record. They play next when they travel to Central Catholic for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4. Start will confront a Fighting Irish team coming off a 77-33 non-league win over Emmanuel Christian (Toledo, OH). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 9-7.

With the loss, Southview falls to 13-4 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Ross (Fremont, OH) to confront the Little Giants in a Northern Lakes contest on Saturday, February 1. The Little Giants come into the contest with a record of 10-7. Ross lost 88-76 in their recent non-league contest against Whitmer (Toledo, OH)
