The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the St. Francis Spartans (Wheaton, IL) and the host Marmion Cadets (Aurora, IL), observed St. Francis's basketball team edge Marmion by a score of 48-41.

The Spartans (10-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Chicago Mt. Carmel (Chicago, IL). The Caravan come into the non-league challenge with a 11-0 record.
