The Brodhead Cardinals basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting Jefferson Eagles to 48 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cardinals now have a 8-10 record. They play next when they travel to Stoughton for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4. Brodhead will confront a Vikings team coming off a 60-47 league win over Sauk Prairie (Prairie du Sac, WI). The Vikings record now stands at 11-7.

With the loss, Jefferson falls to 6-11 on the campaign. The Eagles host East Troy (East Troy, WI) to confront the Trojans in a Rock Valley - Valley game on Tuesday, February 4. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 17-2. East Troy won 57-54 in their recent non-league game against Edgerton (Edgerton, WI)
