The Cabell Midland Knights basketball squad (Ona, WV), was crushed 84-40 in Friday's league battle with the host Spring Valley Timberwolves (Huntington, WV)

With the victory, Spring Valley advances its record to 12-2 on the year. The Timberwolves travel to Blazer (Ashland, KY) to meet the Tomcats in a non-league test on Monday, February 3. The Tomcats come into the test with a record of 12-7. Blazer won 89-42 in their recent non-league test against Morgan County (West Liberty, KY)

The Knights (7-9) will now prepare for their test against Winfield (Winfield, WV). The Generals come into the non-league test with a 8-8 record. In their last test, Winfield was overwhelmed by Sissonville (Charleston, WV), 38-34, in a league test.
