In Friday's league contest, the visiting Joplin Eagles basketball team scored a good 45-30 triumph over the Central Bulldogs.

The Eagles (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Nixa (Nixa, MO). The Eagles go into the Central Ozarks contest with a 14-2 record. In their last contest, Nixa topped Carthage (Carthage, MO), 71-31, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bulldogs confront the Willard Tigers (Willard, MO) in a Central Ozarks contest, on Monday, February 3. Central will attempt to better on its 0-13 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 4-10 record after their 44-32 non-league win over Waynesville (Waynesville, MO).
