Louisiana High School Basketball - Hackberry holds off Converse

In Friday's non-league contest, the host Hackberry Mustangs basketball team scored a close 48-45 triumph over the Converse Wildcats.
The Mustangs (11-14) will now prepare for their contest against Johnson Bayou (Cameron, LA). The Rebels go into the C District 5 contest with a 15-8 record. In their last contest, Johnson Bayou nipped South Cameron (Creole, LA), 57-15, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Wildcats confront the Zwolle Hawks (Zwolle, LA) in a B District 3 contest, on Monday, February 3. Converse will attempt to better on its 8-21 season record.
