In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Minneapolis South Tigers basketball team scored a big 67-16 triumph over the Humboldt Hawks.
The Tigers (8-10) will now prepare for their contest against Edison (Minneapolis, MN). The Tommies go into the non-league contest with a 4-12 record. In their last contest, Edison was trounced by Roosevelt (Minneapolis, MN), 37-34, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Hawks confront the Math & Science Academy Dragons (Woodbury, MN) in a non-league contest, on Sunday, February 2. Humboldt will attempt to better on its 3-18 season record. The Dragons go into the contest with a 2-17 record after their 70-24 non-league loss to St. John's Prep (Collegeville, MN).
