Louisiana High School Basketball - Istrouma routs Tara

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Istrouma Indians basketball team scored a big 61-38 win over the Tara Trojans.

The Indians (18-10) will now prepare for their contest against White Castle (White Castle, LA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 16-10 record. In their last contest, White Castle smashed Ascension Catholic (Donaldsonville, LA), 79-40, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the West Feliciana Saints (St. Francisville, LA) in a 4A District 6 contest, on Saturday, February 1. Tara will attempt to better on its 4-9 season record. The Saints come into the contest with a 15-4 record after their 53-8 league win over Belaire (Baton Rouge, LA).
