The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Mitchell Tigers (Mitchell, NE) and the host Liberty Tree Academy War Eagles (Peyton, CO), observed Mitchell's basketball team overwhelm Liberty Tree Academy by a margin of 61-10.

The Tigers (7-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Alliance (Alliance, NE). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 1-15 record. In their last challenge, Alliance was trounced by Hill City (Hill City, SD), 39-21, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the War Eagles battle the The Colorado Springs School Kodiaks (Colorado Springs, CO) in a 2A Black Forrest challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Liberty Tree Academy will attempt to better on its 4-9 season record. The Kodiaks come into the challenge with a 2-8 record after their 64-10 non-league loss to Thomas MacLaren School (Colorado Springs, CO).
