Utah High School Basketball - Maeser Prep Academy can't hold off Tintic

The Tintic Miners nipped the visiting Maeser Prep Academy Lions basketball squad by a final score of 40-37 in Friday's non-league outing.

Next, the Miners face the Altamont Longhorns (Altamont, UT) in a 1A Region 22 outing, on Saturday, February 1. Tintic will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record. The Longhorns enter the outing with a 4-13 record after their 60-16 league loss to Rich (Randolph, UT).

The Lions (6-13) will now prepare for their outing against Waterford (Sandy, UT). The Ravens enter the 2A Region 17 outing with a 7-6 record. In their last outing, Waterford got by Wasatch Academy (Mt. Pleasant, UT), 70-9, in a non-league outing.
