In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Moorhead Spuds basketball team scored a big 68-42 win over the St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaders.
The Spuds (10-10) will now prepare for their contest against Rogers (Rogers, MN). The Royals come into the AAAA Section 8 contest with a 9-10 record.
In their next game, the Crusaders battle the Albany Huskies (Albany, MN) in a AA Section 6 contest, on Friday, January 31. St. Cloud Cathedral will attempt to better on its 10-24 season record. The Huskies come into the contest with a 9-11 record after their 71-56 non-league win over Eden Valley-Watkins (Eden Valley, MN).
