The Westfall Mustangs basketball team scored 42 points and limited the host Wellston Golden Rockets to 33 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now possess a 9-9 record. They play next when they travel to Huntington for a Scioto Valley game on Saturday, February 1. Westfall will confront a Huntsmen team coming off a 38-29 non-league win over River Valley (Bidwell, OH). The Huntsmen record now stands at 13-5.

With the loss, Wellston falls to 5-14 on the campaign. The Golden rockets travel to River Valley (Bidwell, OH) to confront the Raiders in a Tri-Valley - Ohio game on Monday, February 3. The Raiders go into the game with a record of 15-6. River Valley won 41-38 in their recent league game against Nelsonville-York (Nelsonville, OH)
