The Byron Center Bulldogs bounced the host Stevenson Spartans ice hockey squad by a tally of 9-2 in Friday's non-league match.
Next, the Bulldogs face the De La Salle Collegiate Pilots (Warren, MI) in a non-league match, on Saturday, February 1. Byron Center will attempt to improve on its 9-6 season record. The Pilots come into the match with a 10-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Cranbrook Kingswood (Bloomfield Hills, MI).
The Spartans (6-18) will now prepare for their match against St. Ignatius (Cleveland, OH). The Wildcats come into the non-league match with a 21-8 record. In their last match, St. Ignatius was ripped by Brother Rice (Bloomfield Hills, MI), 4-3, in a non-league match.
