Michigan High School Ice Hockey - Dow knocks off Petoskey

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Dow Chargers ice hockey team scored a close 5-1 victory over the Petoskey Northmen.
The Chargers (12-4) will now prepare for their contest against Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, MI). The Oilers go into the Saginaw Valley contest with a 2-16 record. In their last contest, Mt. Pleasant by Grosse Pointe North (Grosse Pointe, MI), 4-3, in a non-league battle.
The Northmen now possess a 12-6 record. They play next when they travel to St. Francis for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 4. Petoskey will confront a Gladiators squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Forest Hills Eastern (Ada, MI). The Gladiators record now stands at 6-9.
