In Friday's non-league contest, the host Mountain Vista Golden Eagles basketball team scored a big 74-26 triumph over the Douglas County Huskies.
The Golden Eagles (9-2) will now prepare for their contest against Legend (Parker, CO). The Titans go into the contest with a 11-1 record. In their last contest, Legend smashed Castle View (Castle Rock, CO), 66-52, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Huskies battle the Mountain Range Mustangs (Westminster, CO) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 1. Douglas County will attempt to better on its 0-9 season record. The Mustangs go into the contest with a 3-9 record after their 58-51 league win over Westminster (Westminster, CO).
