Indiana High School Basketball - Mt. Vernon overwhelms New Castle

The Mt. Vernon Marauders basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting New Castle Trojans to 22 in the Marauders league triumph on Friday.

The Marauders now have a 10-4 record. They play next when they host Harrison for a non-league game on Saturday, February 1.

With the loss, New Castle falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Franklin County (Brookville, IN) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league game on Saturday, February 8. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 6-4.
