The Canby Cougars topped the host Scappoose Indians basketball team by a final score of 46-28 in Tuesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Cougars face the McMinnville Grizzlies (McMinnville, OR) in a non-league game, on Thursday, January 6. Canby will attempt to move on its 7-3 season record. The Grizzlies enter the game with a 6-5 record after their 61-37 non-league loss to Southridge (Beaverton, OR).
With the defeat, Scappoose moves to 4-3 on the year. The Indians host La Salle (Milwaukie, OR) to face the Falcons in a 5A Northwest Oregon game on Tuesday, January 11. The Falcons enter the game with a record of 1-1.
