The Laconia Spartans basketball team (Rosendale, WI), was overwhelmed 81-53 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Columbus Cardinals (Columbus, WI)
The Cardinals now possess a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lodi for a Capitol - North battle on Friday, January 7. Columbus will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 70-58 non-league win over Mount Horeb (Mount Horeb, WI). The Blue Devils record now stands at 6-4.
