Texas High School Basketball - Hereford crushes Portales

Hereford Whitefaces (Hereford, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Portales Rams (Portales, NM), 57-29 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Hereford upgrades its record to 10-8 on the season. The Whitefaces travel to Amarillo (Amarillo, TX) to play the Sandies in a non-league bout on Friday, January 7. The Sandies go into the bout with a record of 17-7. Amarillo won 51-41 in their recent non-league bout against Canyon (Canyon, TX)
Next up, the Rams play the Cathedral Fighting Irish (El Paso, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 6. Portales will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Fighting Irish go into the bout with a 16-11 record after their 62-18 non-league win over Clint (Clint, TX).
