In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Pleasant Spartans (Marion, OH) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Mt. Gilead Indians (Mt. Gilead, OH), by a margin of 73-48.
The Spartans (3-6) will now prepare for their outing against Galion (Galion, OH). The Tigers go into the Mid-Ohio - Red outing with a 2-7 record. In their last outing, Galion was trounced by River Valley (Caledonia, OH), 89-67, in a league outing.
The Indians now own a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Fredericktown for a Knox Morrow outing on Friday, January 7. Mt. Gilead will clash with a Freddies squad coming off a 63-61 league win over Danville (Danville, OH). The Freddies record now stands at 4-7.
