The Parkersburg South Patriots (Parkersburg, WV) basketball knocked off the visiting University Hawks (Morgantown, WV), 89-72 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Patriots (6-1) will now prepare for their test against Morgantown (Morgantown, WV). The Mohigans go into the non-league test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, Morgantown went down by Steward (Richmond, VA), 59-56, in a non-league test.
The Hawks now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they host John Marshall for a Two Rivers test on Friday, January 7. University will encounter a Monarchs squad coming off a 54-37 non-league win over Bishop Rosecrans (Zanesville, OH). The Monarchs record now stands at 3-4.
