South Brunswick Vikings (Monmouth Junction, NJ) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting South Plainfield Tigers (South Plainfield, NJ), 60-46 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, South Brunswick upgrades its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Vikings host Perth Amboy (Perth Amboy, NJ) to play the Panthers in a Greater Middlesex - Red bout on Tuesday, January 25. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 3-3.
Next up, the Tigers play the Dunellen Destroyers (Dunellen, NJ) in a Greater Middlesex - Blue bout, on Wednesday, January 5. South Plainfield will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record.
