The Meadow Broncos basketball team (Meadow, TX), was overwhelmed 66-27 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Ropes Eagles (Ropesville, TX)

The Eagles now possess a 19-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bovina for a non-league battle on Friday, January 7. Ropes will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 76-38 non-league loss to Hale Center (Hale Center, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-3.

The Broncos (8-10) will now prepare for their battle against Dawson (Welch, TX). The Dragons come into the 1A Region I District 7 battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Dawson was overwhelmed by Klondike (Lamesa, TX), 73-4, in a non-league battle.
