The Santa Teresa Desert Warriors (Santa Teresa, NM) basketball felled the visiting Loretto Angels (El Paso, TX), 33-24 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Desert Warriors (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Artesia (Artesia, NM). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Artesia was beaten by Gadsden (Anthony, NM), 48-24, in a non-league test.
The Angels now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Chaparral for a non-league test on Friday, January 14.
