Georgia High School Basketball - Hapeville Charter can't hold off Arabia Mountain

January 4, 2023: Atlanta, GA 30349

The Arabia Mountain Rams basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the host Hapeville Charter Hornets to 58 in the Rams non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Rams now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chamblee for a AAAAA Region 4 contest on Friday, January 6. Arabia Mountain will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 73-62 non-league loss to Rockdale County (Conyers, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-9.

The Hornets (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Southwest DeKalb (Decatur, GA). The Panthers come into the AAAA Region 6 contest with a 9-1 record. In their last contest, Southwest DeKalb edged Douglass (Atlanta, GA), 66-54, in a non-league contest.
