Colorado High School Basketball - Arickaree crushes Deer Trail

January 4, 2023: Deer Trail, CO 80105

Arickaree Bison (Anton, CO) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Deer Trail Eagles (Deer Trail, CO), 70-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Arickaree upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Bison travel to Gilpin County (Black Hawk, CO) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, January 6. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Gilpin County lost 53-35 in their recent non-league bout against Denver Waldorf (Denver, CO)

Next up, the Eagles play the Hanover Hornets (Colorado Springs, CO) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 7. Deer Trail will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 52-39 non-league win over Antonito (Antonito, CO).
