Colorado High School Basketball - Rye crushes Atlas Preparatory School

Rye Thunderbolts (Rye, CO) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Atlas Preparatory School Gryphons (Colorado Springs, CO), 70-17 in a league bout.

With the win, Rye upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Thunderbolts host Lamar (Lamar, CO) to play the Thunder in a 4A/3A Tri-Peaks challenge on Friday, January 6. The Thunder come into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Lamar lost 52-46 in their recent league challenge against Florence (Florence, CO)

Next up, the Gryphons confront the The Vanguard School Coursers (Colorado Springs, CO) in a 4A/3A Tri-Peaks challenge, on Friday, January 6. Atlas Preparatory School will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record. The Coursers come into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 64-45 non-league win over Roaring Fork (Carbondale, CO).
